Hear the payer objections before the payer meeting

Roundtable is a simulated panel of payer medical directors, purpose-built for your product. Each persona is constructed from real, public coverage decisions and policy records for its payer archetype, then interviewed against your evidence package. You receive a structured discussion guide, adversarially verified transcripts, and a cross-payer synthesis of where your evidence holds and where it gets picked apart.

It is preparation, and it is honest about being preparation. Roundtable complements real payer research; it does not impersonate it. What it gives you is a rehearsal you can run in two weeks, before you spend a payer meeting learning objections you could have anticipated. Experts who have sat across from real medical directors write the discussion guide and interpret the panel's answers.

Backtested, scored, published

Anyone can prompt a chatbot to talk like a payer. Ask any vendor how the simulation scores against real decisions the model never saw.

Praxa personas are validated on held-out coverage decisions before we interview them. Our panels have scored 80–92% agreement against real payer decisions excluded from persona construction, and the fidelity score for your panel ships with the deliverable. If a persona cannot pass the backtest, it does not sit at the table.

  • Three or five payer personas, typically a Medicare MAC archetype plus commercial archetypes matched to your payer mix
  • Structured interviews against your actual evidence package
  • Cross-payer synthesis of the objections, the evidence gaps, and the order to close them
  • Published fidelity methodology and your panel's backtest scores
  • Discussion guide and synthesis written by a senior market access expert who has faced these payers in person

Three moments where a rehearsal pays for itself

Before payer meetings

Walk in knowing the three objections you will hear and holding the evidence answer to each.

Before locking an evidence plan

Find out which endpoints move a coverage decision and which are expensive decoration, before the study is designed.

Before a live payer board

In-person payer advisory boards run $75,000 to $100,000 and virtual ones about a fifth of that. Arrive having already fixed the weaknesses a Roundtable engagement would have found.

Asked and answered

Three personas or five?

$10,000 buys a three-persona panel, usually a Medicare MAC archetype and two commercial payers. Each additional persona is $2,500, so a five-persona panel is $15,000 and adds the commercial payers that carry the most of your mix. Most first panels run three; the five-persona panel is the choice when coverage hinges on several large commercial plans at once.

Is this a replacement for talking to real payers?

No, and we will not sell it as one. Real payer research carries information no simulation holds. Roundtable makes that research sharper and cheaper by resolving the anticipatable objections first, so your real payer time goes to the questions only real payers can answer.

How do we know the personas are not just agreeable chatbots?

The backtest. Personas are scored against held-out, real coverage decisions before use, and your panel's scores ship with the deliverable. The methodology is public, and we encourage you to put the same question to any other vendor.

What do you need from us?

Your evidence package, meaning published studies, in-flight data, and the value story as you currently tell it. The panel interviews against the evidence you have today, because that is what a payer would see.
